With nearly two decades of experience, I help entrepreneurs use AI and automation to simplify their business and work less than 20 hours per week. When I'm not building AI systems and workflows, you'll find me wrangling my two boys, chasing a new hyperfixation, and binging Netflix.
The Weekly ShortcutOne shortcut to simplify and automate your business. This week's shortcut comes from something I found in my own business that I want to make sure never happens in yours. A paying member of mine was tagged as cancelled in my email tool. π± She was paying every month but instead of getting important emails, she was being treated like a 'cancelled' member instead and getting winback emails instead. Nothing dramatic caused it. No automation that I previously set up "broke" but a sync just didn't fire the way it should have, and nothing existed to catch it. And here's what I want to be really clear about: having automations for every part of your business is crucial, and I'm not telling you to trust them less. What I am saying is tech glitches happen - a webhook misfires, a sync hiccups, and as much as we'd love for things to work correctly all of the time... they just don't.
π‘ So this week's shortcut is the exact one I built to fix it: a weekly audit that compares my database, my payment tool, and my email tags against each other and hands me every mismatch with the exact fix. Every week it runs whether I remember to worry about it or not. π
You've already been inside The Shortcut so you know how it works π This is just the shortcut that dropped this week so if you're ready to make sure the right people are always getting the right emails without checking any of it yourself, I'd love to have you come back. Happy automating,
